Australian drug dealer hanged but..

The news about the excution of Van Tuong Nguyen in Singapore really made me surprised at the Australian goverment's action. Well your citizen CLEARLY smuggled drugs through a country well known by its strict policies, he suggled almost half a kilo of herroin in order to sell it in Australia. That amount of herroin would've ruined the lives of thousands of people and devestated lots of families.
So do you believe the hanging was justified? Personally I do, but thats not my point. My point is whats with the Australian goverment DEMANDING pardon from Singapore like they could make an exception in this case just because he's a "first timer" heh am so glad Singapore declined. If they agreed that would made more Australians try to smuggle drugs through Singapore.

Anyway am just pissed at the Australian goverment and the way they defend their drug-dealing-citizens, although the ones in Indonesia might be abit different ( Hey Leslie :D )
