Happy New Year, AGAIN

Happy Eid everyone,

its weird how we're all neglecting the Islamic calender and don't even know the dates. Well i don't know about you guys but i rarely ever know what day or even month of the arabic calender we are. But hey i guess its ok because to keep everything universal we need a universal date for every region.

Then again most regions use both calenders, at least here we use both. I think in Iran they only use the Persian calender with not many people even knowing the Gregorian calender date.

hmm intresting stuff

Its that time of the year again!

2006 is a couple of hours away, what do you usually do in those last moments of 2005? Everytime at this momments i'll be thinking about my situation the exact same time last year and how the past year have been. Usually i try to make few resolutions and promises to myself hoping the new year will be less harsh on me then the previous one. But you know what.. screw that... i doubt any year would suck more than 2005 and even if it did damn well should handle it better than i did before.. otherwise i will truly fail in life.
And whats the best way to end the year than breakin your freakin small toe and not being able to run or wear shoes for a 5 weeks *sigh* :(

On global scale 2005 wasn't a good year either, lots of stuff happened. Iraq saw daily bombings taking lots of lives. Iran got elected a messed up president who will lead them to a war most likely. Syria's goverment started shaking with what happened in Lebanon. Hariri got assasinated. Katrina made quite abit of damage and made thousands(or was it millions i have no idea) of people homeless. That and other stuff that i can't recall.

So let's hope 2006 will be a more peaceful year with less troubles and people getting along better.

Happy New Year...
